In my previous role as a project manager, I was leading a cross-functional team on a high-stakes project with tight deadlines. Midway through the project, a conflict arose between the development team and the design team regarding the feasibility of certain design elements.
Task:
As the project manager, it was my responsibility to resolve this conflict quickly to ensure that the project stayed on track and that team morale remained high.
Action:
I organized a meeting with both teams to discuss the issues at hand. I encouraged each side to share their perspectives and concerns without interruption. By actively listening and acknowledging their viewpoints, I created an open and respectful environment.
